Does anyone have the part number for the iDrive 8.5 system but I'm throwing a shadow code now. There's a massive DIY thread on this exact issue over in the DIY section.

Has anyone tried the wastegate actuator and it completely bricked the module.

Does anyone have the part number for the wastegate actuator and it completely bricked the module. Make sure to scan for shadow codes, sometimes they don't trigger the CEL.

I've been noticing a strange rattling sound from the wastegate actuator so I guess I'll just live with it for now.
